BLICK NACH VORN N° 7
Mushrooms. Material. Future.
On Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 7:30 pm, the Sustainable Design Center invites you to the seventh hybrid event series BLICK NACH VORN.
Guests are Alessandro Volpato (TOP Lab) and Dr. Bertram Schmidt (Biotechology at TU Berlin) and will talk about the topic of fungal mycelium and its promising role in the ecological, circular transformation of the construction sector. Because: a real revolution is imminent!
Alessandro and Bertram will report on their research projects, explain how the raw material fungus can be transformed into buildable materials and usable products and the potential that Citizen Science or Art + Science can unleash.
They work together in a network of specialists and partners: the MY-CO BUILD and MY-CO SPACE projects were developed with and at Futurium Berlin, for example, which transfer the findings from the research projects into a participatory real laboratory.
The event is hybrid and will take place both at Atelier Gardens and online. You can find more information and access to Zoom at the Sustainable Design Center.
We look forward to seeing you!
