Suzume must embark on a dangerous adventure to prevent great misfortune. In search of mysterious, mischief-causing doors, 17-year-old Suzume travels all over Japan to abandoned scenes of previous natural disasters. Together with young Souta, she must try to close these portals at all costs to prevent further devastation of immeasurable proportions. This epic, unusual journey through breathtaking new worlds is also the journey of a young woman on her way to adulthood.
