On the topic of “Sustainable and local living”, Futur:ista and Atelier Gardens invite you to a film evening on Tuesday, December 12th at 7:30 p.m. We will screen director Andreas Stiglmayr’s new documentary “Together – Shaping the Future”.

The new documentary is based on real-world laboratory projects in cooperation between civil society, science and politics. It  shows local communities that contribute in times of crisis and transformation, people working together instead of against each other to find solutions and visions towards a desirable future, using strength and synergy more collectively.

Learning together to getting involved together at a local level, makes it possible to overcome the collective feeling of powerlessness and being overwhelmed is accompanied by a permanent experience of crisis.

After the film screening there will be a panel discussion with Andreas Stiglmayr, the urban researcher Antje Bruno and
the social scientist Amanda Groschke from Futur:ista. Together, we will discuss how we can successfully shape the future together, initiate change processes and what it takes for people to engage socially.

Admission is free. Since the number of places is limited, please register here.

We would like to thank the German Foundation for financial support.
