Final performance of the TIK TIK theater course with school children. By children for children and anyone interested: “Momo without Momo”, freely adapted from “Momo” by Michael Ende.

About the plot:

In the novel “Momo” by Michael Ende, the little girl Momo fights against time thieves – the gray lords who rob people of their lifetime and thus the joy of life. There is no Momo in our production, because children are the worst enemies of the gray lords and every child, every person, can defeat the gray lords. But how?
“Momo without Momo” is an ode to free play and is directed against any attempt to imprison the human spirit. But isn’t the attempt to stage free play also an attempt to imprison the free spirit? Will the actors resolve this paradox and free themselves from the cage of staging?

With “TIK TIK – Theater im Kreis – Theater im Kiez” (2023-2025), Lunaelaltro Theater continues the successful neighbourhood project “Auf Theater, fertig, los!” (2021-2022) and enable sustainable encounters in the Germaniagarten neighborhood and communicate important topics in a playful way.

“Sitting in a circle” means being at eye level with the children and conveys equality, justice and intimacy.
