It is almost fall! The plants and vegetables in our community gardens that have delighted us all summer are beginning to create seeds.
This month, we will give thanks for this year’s harvest, taste the vegetables that are available now, harvest seeds, and preserve herbs in vinegar.
Especially we love to experiment Shiso Vinegar in Japanese manner.
Shiso (called Perilla here) is a typical Japanese herb. Anthocyanin, a natural pigment derived from plants, is a type of polyphenol with antioxidant effects.
With rice vinegar, we will store the special flavour and be ready to use it few months later.
Those who are curious about Natural Farming or wonder how our experiment goes in our field. just come join us!
No special knowledge is needed.
All are welcome.
Connect with soil, plants, learn something new, share your own knowledge, and grow something other than economic capital here at Atelier Gardens.
