Roof terrace and roof garden with panoramic views
The PAVILION offers a unique opportunity to organise yoga classes, drinks receptions, conferences and other events on the roof of HAUS 1, in the middle of a green oasis with a panoramic view of Tempelhofer Feld. The open-plan layout of the roof terrace allows tenants to utilise the space flexibly. The proudly designed greenery not only creates a relaxing recreational area, but also helps to promote biodiversity and improve the microclimate.
Features
The flat roof was extended by a thermally closed pavilion construction made of cross-laminated timber and supplemented by a roof terrace and an adjoining roof garden. The interior and exterior surfaces merge seamlessly into one another. A full-surface glass facade with floor-to-ceiling sliding windows in a yellow colour makes it possible to enjoy the distant view of Berlin from inside the PAVILION. The narrow window profiles with a width of just 34 millimetres ensure a glass proportion of up to 98 per cent and make the large window elements appear almost weightless.
